Jen Wassum is raising money for Alpha Phi Foundation Inc
Story
As we approach 50 years of Alpha Phi at the University of Virginia (to be celebrated in 2028), I can think of no better way to enrich that legacy than to endow a tuition scholarship for the Zeta Iota chapter.
We have until the end of 2024 to raise a total of $50,000 to leave this legacy for UVA Alpha Phis for years to come. Once endowed, these scholarship dollars will go directly to a tuition scholarship that will be awarded annually by Alpha Phi Foundation to a member of the Zeta Iota chapter. As we head into this year's Founders' Day of Giving, we have raised over $18,000 for the scholarship. I'd like to challenge us to raise $15,000 this year, putting us two-thirds of the way toward endowment!
Alpha Phi Foundation scholarships unlock opportunities that help Alpha Phis become leaders in their fields. This year, through the generosity of Alpha Phi alumnae and donors, over $466,000 was awarded to 76 Alpha Phis. The more people that know about Alpha Phi Foundation, the greater their impact, so please also spread the word by sharing my page with your friends and family.
