Story
Why:
- I run to support WPA because their programs are gender-specific and designed to address histories of trauma, mental illness, parental stress, and other risk factors specific to women.
- I run to support WPA because they welcome any woman seeking new possibilities for herself and her family, regardless of the nature of her crime.
- Most of all, I run to support WPA because it tells the women who come to WPA for partnership that they are seen, they are heard, and they are worthy of their community’s support.
