Help the dyslexic community gain literacy skills to be confident learners, successful employees, and thriving citizens. Everyone deserves the ability to read. Don't let COVID-19 be the reason a child cannot receive tutoring they so desperately want.

Story

Help support children struggling to read, spell, and do math due to dyslexia. Dyslexia, a neurological language based learning disorder impacts as many as 1 in 5 children. Schools are not always equipped to recognize dyslexia and provide the appropriate scientifically-proven intervention to assist. Jacob, a recent graduate, was reading two years behind his classmates when he started tutoring at DRC. Now, as a middle school student, he is reading at a high school level. He not only has the skills to be successful throughout the remainder of his education, he has the confidence to pursue his dreams. Children with dyslexia are bright individuals. They struggle with a basic skill that impacts them everyday in the classroom and in life. When they receive the appropriate intervention they can surpass expectations. Don't let their light burn out. Support children with dyslexia today.
