My Nana Ji (grandad) was a diabetic who suddenly passed away at the age of 89 in India during the last week of his holiday. 

He was one of the most generous people I’ve ever known. He had converted the garage of his home in India into a house for 3 children and a widow free of charge. I want to give back the same way he did.  

I am running for diabetes with my mum in honour of my Nana Ji to support research as it is still a huge issue for many individuals with no cure.
