Story

It's been almost eight years since POPS the Club launched, and now we are serving young people in 19 schools, in 5 states, and we are changing lives, transforming shame and stigma into hope and healing. There are hundreds of individual stories, many told in our anthologies, but so many kids returning to let us know that they wouldn't be voting, or heading to law school, or free, or even alive if not for POPS. Please help us continue to support the kids!

About the charity

One in fourteen children in the U.S. has had an incarcerated parent. POPS clubs support teens who often struggle silently with the grief, shame, and stigma of incarceration. We build strong youth communities based on trust. We heal through shared stories, shared meals, and a shared resilience.
