Story

This page was created to honor the life and memory of Andrew Shea and his love of animals.

Andrew was always quick to rescue any animal in need and had many beloved pets throughout his life. These pets included dogs, cats, a variety of lizards and frogs, turtles, snakes, tarantulas, scorpions, a rooster, a rabbit (Easter Day present to his mom), rats, fish, ferrets and parrots. Surely there were more!

Being such a creative person, Andrew enjoyed making all types of habitats and toys for each of his pets. One of these habitats even included a large, screened in terrarium that took up half of his bedroom when he was younger.

Andrew and his best friend Bella Mia Dog were inseparable until her passing several years ago. She would travel all over the state with him, and she took part in many of these animal rescues during their adventures together

While we never knew what animal Andrew would show up with next, we did know that he saved them for a reason. This kindness and compassion was felt by all that knew him.

Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means a lot to our family and all of the animals your donations can help save.
