The NWV Family YMCA is committed to making quality programs and facilities available to all. Our promise is that no one be turned away for an inability to pay.  We know that during difficult economic times, some families will need financial assistance.

100% of donations are used to provide programs for youth, family, seniors, after school care, summer camp, youth sports, leadership training for teens, seniors and more.

Membership dues and programs fees cover the cost of maintaining and operating Y facilities. Donations provide financial assistance for individuals and families who cannot afford membership or programs fees, but deserve the benefit of YMCA programs.

In 2022, the NWV Y will use Annual Campaign Funds to:                                               

1. Provide 100 families with scholarships for before and
after school and day camp programs, because youth do better when they have supportive adults nurturing their potential

2. Engage 350 youth in the community in youth sports
programming, because Y programs provide experiences that build a sense of belonging and welcome young people to develop their self-identity

3.Provide water safety programming to 80 families. Y programs provide critical safety around water knowledge and teach swimming skills for youth and adults.

4. Provide experiences for 80 seniors to socialize and
develop a healthy lifestyle. Y programs work to reduce depression and fear through outreach and safe social gatherings.
