Bring it on! 

Thank you Save the Children for giving me the opportunity to run the London marathon...again! 

Dry January is nearly complete, the Christmas cake is finished and I am now head down following a rigorous training regime set by my 'helpful' kids!! There is a lot of excess weight to "shift" before the big day and there are many more training miles to cover. But, I have the bit between my teeth and have started to feel the "love of a run" return, even as I audibly grumble when heading out to the park at 0600hrs in the freezing cold - noting, of course, that the said 'helpful' support team remain in bed! 

Although my priority is raising as much money for Save the Children - and please dig deep and give as much as you can for this amazing cause - this is also the start of a renewed personal journey to rediscover a healthy body and mind! With the support of all my networks - including those at work that get me to the gym regularly - this is an ongoing 'wellbeing' marathon that I intend to continue with, well beyond the run in April 2024. 

As I say, Bring it on!!
