This May I will be participating in the Tamarack Ottawa race weekend! I have decided to raise funds for a cause that is close to my heart. Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women living in Canada (excluding non-melanoma skin cancers). It is the 2nd leading cause of death from cancer in women living in Canada. My bad ass Mom is a two time breast cancer survivor, along with my Aunt and my Grandma! I am thankful for the advancement in treatment, diagnostic, and surgical interventions that have been essential for my family and hope to support further research and advancement in breast cancer treatment!
