For 4 years I have run at the Tamarack Race Weekend and I have always run a 5k but this year I am running a 10k (pray for my knees).

I took part in the 5k race 4 years ago because I wanted to raise money for the non profit I worked at during the time called Carlington Community Connection, an organization that provides supports vulnerable residents of an Ottawa Community Housing building. I have since moved on to another job but Carlington still holds a great place in my heart, that is why I am running (with my throbbing knees) to raise funds that will help create programs that will support residents of the community.
