This past November, my husband Alex's father passed away after a very rapid onset of ALS and subsequent pneumonia.

Any research that can be done to help others diagnosed with ALS is so necessary, and support offered to caregivers and people left grieving after the passing of their loved ones is essential.

On May 24th I will be running the Ottawa Half Marathon in memory of my sweet father in law Rodolphe Haupt, who is missed dearly by all of us.
