I’m proud to be supporting the Ottawa Coalition to End Violence Against Women (OCTEVAW) as part of Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend (May 23–24). As you may or may not know, I have been involved with OCTEVAW since September 2024 , as the Director for Governance and Nominations.

OCTEVAW is participating in the event for the first time, and I’m helping raise funds to support their vital work to end gender-based violence and support survivors in our community. At a time when social services and programs are being cut across our community, supporting the work of grassroots organizations is more important than ever.
