Safe Sleep

Unintentional suffocation is the leading cause of injury-related death among children under 1 year of age. Nearly three-quarters of these deaths occur in bed. Use safety-approved cribs, portable play areas and keep crib bumpers, pillows and soft toys out of the safe sleeping place.

Funds raised for the Bradshaw Institute through this year's Radiothon will be used to purchase portable cribs. These portable cribs will be given to families to support safe sleep practices in homes around the community.
