The charity objectives are to assist children and young people in the alleviation of poverty and the relief of sickness. Since it was established in 1994, it has helped a number of individuals with funding for medical equipment, medial treatment, specialised therapy, specially adapted equipment, holiday outings and after-school clubs. It has also made grants to other children's charities.

The charity has made a significant difference to the quality of life for those individuals who would otherwise have found it extremely difficult to obtain financial assistance. 

You also all probably know that the marathon will be such a huge challenge for me and your support is so massively appreciated!
