Many times, NEA Baptist team members find themselves caring for the needs of a patient that goes beyond medical care. Whether it is helping to provide a ride home after discharge, or helping patients afford the medications they are prescribed after a hospital stay, these common needs impact the overall recovery and health of those we are treating. Thankfully, this is when the NEA Baptist Chaplains step in to help. As needs are identified, the Chaplain Fund is accessed to assist our patients in ensuring that they are cared for beyond their medical needs.
