The events of this year have had a profound effect on many people's mental health and wellbeing.
It's important to talk to someone about how we're feeling, that's why we're encouraging everyone to call a friend or loved one, one small act of kindness can go along way. Not everyone feels able to reach out to a family member or a friend, Samaritans Emergency Appeal will help them help more people struggling to cope.
Samaritans UK are there for every single one of us, to listen and support us without judgement, 24/7, 365 days a year .
The Mayor of Kirklees said, "The Samaritans is a unique charity dedicated to reducing feelings of isolation and disconnection that can lead to suicide. The charity runs almost entirely with the support of volunteers, and offers help to those in need 24/7 - before, during and after a crisis and they need our support now more than ever."
Change the life of someone who desperately needs them.
Suicide can be prevented. If you're reading this and you need support please call 116 123.
