Story

Welcome to my 62 Miles in March challenge profile page for Diabetes UK.

As many of you know I was diagnosed with type one diabetes in November 2022 and since then my life has been completely different. Without fundraising my world would be a much harder place with limited diabetes tech and awareness. Without this tech and support I would find it extremely difficult to continue to get up on that Boulevard stage every week!

Living with this condition is 24/7, 365 days a year and really affects mental health and without the support of all these charities it can become overwhelming and hard to deal with.

Did you know there is more than 5 million people are living with diabetes in the UK right now?

So, I'm taking on this challenge this month not only looking towards a healthier me, but for a better future for people living with and affected by diabetes.

If you’d like to support my challenge, hit the donate button on my profile page.

Thanks
DD
