Story
** Update 20.09.2020 **
It is coming ever closer to the 4th October when we do our Virtual run.
We have been asked to raise a percentage of the total for the virtual run, and then the remainder for the next marathon in either 2021,22, or 23.
So please continue to donate!
All the thanks!
** Update 14.08.2020 **
So the 2020 London marathon as we all know it has been cancelled.
HOWEVER...
We will both still run the 26.2 miles on the 4th of October, as planned.
This will be completely self-supported ie no aid stations or crowds cheering us on!
We then will run the London Marathon on its usual course in London in either 2021, 2022 or 2023 (we are awaiting confirmation from St Joseph's Hospice about which year).
So please continue to donate!! And thank you to everyone who already has ♥️
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We will be running the London Marathon on the 4th of October!
This will be Eleanor's first marathon ever, and Luke's first London marathon! We will be running it to raise money for St Joseph's hospice in Hackney. They rely on fundraising and donations for a large proportion of their funding, so any donations you can make will make a big impact.
St Joseph’s Hospice supports people in East and North East London with serious, life-limiting conditions.
They help local people, supporting their choices and making sure they get the help they need, whether that’s spending time at the hospice or being supported at home. They also offer a wide range of services to families and carers to help at this difficult time.
The donations will be sent direct to the charity in a fast and secure way. Its efficient, saves time and cuts costs for the charity. Let's do this!
