The Neighborhood Academy is seeking support for our new Technology Endowment Fund. All donations made to this fund will be dedicated and restricted to equipping our students with Chromebook Laptops and secondarily, tech accessories and maintenance.

Story

Technology barriers impact students and families of The Neighborhood Academy significantly and in order to bridge this digital divide, they need our help in equipping their students with Chromebook laptops for the upcoming academic year. With class moving from "homeroom to the bedroom" and in consideration of the COVID-19 pandemic, your generous and timely support can help make students' homes suitable for the delivery of high-quality online education, personal growth, and counseling sessions. 50 laptops - that's how many they will need to ensure a smooth transition into online learning, whether part-time or full-time, during the upcoming academic year. They will use these laptops to equip incoming students, replace broken laptops, and build a technology reserve for future TNA students. The approximate cost to purchase 50 Google Chromebook laptops is $12,500 ($250 per Chromebook). Any additional funds will be used for tech maintenance and accessories. Any amount helps- thank you!
