Story
I have joined #TEAMLC to run the London Marathon 2025. Please help me to support everyone affected by a blood cancer diagnosis in the UK.
Leukaemia Care is a national charity dedicated to ensuring that anyone affected by blood cancer receives the right information, advice and support. Around 34,000 people are affected by blood cancer each year in the UK and we're here to support them through their diagnosis, treatment and beyond.
In the month of July 2022, my Nan was diagnosed with AML Leukaemia, 2 years on with the help of this wonderful charity that has helped her in many ways, by way of; understanding the type of cancer that she has, helping to navigate through some really difficult times by allowing her to understand the medication that she needs to keep her alive and being there to support and talk at any time.
Leukaemia Care not only support patients, but carers and families like ours whose lives are impacted when someone they know and love receives a diagnosis.
Please donate as little or as much as you can to support this charity... and also to motivate me on those long training runs! Having taken part in the London Mini Marathon twice I am now so happy to be able to take part in the full course, it has been something I’ve wanted to do for a long time. I really appreciate everyone's support and I hope to see as many of your faces as possible on London Marathon Day.
