Every spring we come together as a community to celebrate our founder, Fred Friedfeld, an optician whose lifelong values of giving back and commitment to education inspired our family to create a scholarship in his honor.

With an eye on the future of our industry, this scholarship was founded to help students at the State University of New York School of Optometry achieve their dreams, such as furthering research, supporting community healthcare nationwide, helping eyecare companies succeed. They are the remarkable physicians who we all look to for vision care.
