Hi I'm Steve (Rephas). I love games and think everyone should have the opportunity to play and that's where Special Effect come in.

The plan is to stream games the whole weekend on Twitch with a team of lovely fellow gamers raising money and if I'm not live I'll probably be in one their streams!

So what's this GameBlast thing?

GameBlast is the UKs biggest annual charity gaming marathon weekend in aid of The Gamer's Charity SpecialEffect. Your GameBlast donations will enable SpecialEffect to help gamers with disabilities by finding out what they want to play, and exactly what they need to play it. Everyone's abilities are different so well match, modify or create custom gaming setups, and give lifelong support so they can continue to get the best out of it. From modified gaming controllers to eye-control systems, every system we provide is personalised. Sometimes that might mean adding voice control or a chin joystick. Or we might get the drill and soldering iron out to adapt the button positions on a regular controller. There are hundreds of potential solutions, and its our job to find the right one.
