Running for a Cure, Supporting Leukaemia Care - In Memory of Simon Maddock

London Landmarks Half Marathon 2025 · 6 April 2025 ·
I'm excited (and a little nervous) to be participating in the London Landmark Half Marathon, raising funds for Leukaemia Care, a charity close to my heart. I'm not exactly a fan of running, but over the years, leukaemia has personally touched the lives of people I know, and seeing the challenges they have faced has inspired me to take action.
Leukaemia Care provides invaluable support to individuals and families affected by blood cancers, and I'm running to help raise awareness and ensure more people can access the resources they need during these difficult times. Every step I take is in honor of those who have fought, are fighting, or have been affected by this disease.
Leukaemia Care is a national charity dedicated to ensuring that anyone affected by blood cancer receives the right information, advice and support. Around 34,000 people are affected by blood cancer each year in the UK and we're here to support them through their diagnosis, treatment and beyond.
