I'm putting on my walking boots again to join Francis House Children's hospice trekking in The Albanian Alps. An unspoilt wilderness of magnificent snow-capped peaks, gorges, lakes and dense forests, dotted with tiny stone-built hamlets that have changed little in years. This challenging trip will take place from 7th to 15th September 2019 and will involve five full days of adventurous trekking. During this time, I'll enjoy breath-taking and remote mountain panoramas whilst hiking between simple guesthouse accommodations in traditional mountain villages.
