Event: Run-4-Life!
Run-4-Life
Campaign by Vinfen (RCN 042632219)
Vinfen's Run-4-Life will take place on September 16-17 and is a 200-mile relay course run by Vinfen staff and supporters to raise funds to enhance the health and wellness of the Vinfen community.

Story

I am a behavior analyst at Vinfen working in the Developmental Services and Brian Injury Divisions.  My work at Vinfen focuses on policy and training to help make life better for the people we serve, especially in terms of increasing autonomy for the people we serve and making the staff-client relationships more humanistic.  Outside of work, I am working on my PhD in behavioral medicine with a focus on helping people increase their physical activity.  Running has been a big part of my own fitness journey and becoming healthier starting in my early 20s, so this event has always been very special to me.  Much of my training involves pushing my 2-year-old and 3-year-old in a running stroller; you can follow me on Instagram (@jimmyjgreen) to track our progress!

100% of the funds we raise go directly to our Health and Wellness fund, and it's so helpful for the people who will then use this money for gym memberships, fitness gear, and other important healthy living needs.  My team of 12 will be running 200 miles from Bretton Woods to Hampton Beach, NH, raising awareness of our cause along the way.  Please consider helping this really important cause!
