Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I'm excited to move 16-hours this year to acknowledge my own recovery journey and support my friend Charlie Engle, as he honors 31-years.
In June 2007, I walked into a treatment center lonely, afraid and broken. Drinking had left me a shell of myself and I was ready to change. Almost 16-years later, I'm living a life that is full, joyful and happy. None of this would be possible unless I first stopped putting substances, like drugs and alcohol into my body.
My purpose of recovering out loud is to help those healing in private keep going and feel less alone. We can't do it alone and I'm grateful for those who came before me who loved me before I was able to love myself. I'm here to pay it forward.
