Welcome to our fundraising page for Race the Sun 2023!

On the 9th September, we'll be taking on an incredible challenge which journeys through the mountains and sprawling lakes of the Lake District. 

Set up by the wonderful Action Medical Research for Children, the Race the Sun will raise money to support life-changing research to "help save and change the lives of sick and vulnerable children."

It's a triathlon-style adventure, so it's no easy feat for our team. It involves biking, hiking and kayaking - all between dawn and dusk in just one day. But for such a worthy cause, we couldn't be happier to have a place on the event! 

And here's where we ask for your support! Our target is £1,900 for the event but we'd really love to smash that and get to £2,500 if possible. 

A little bit about Action Medical:

Action Medical Research is the leading UK-wide charity saving and changing children’s lives through medical research. For 65 years we’ve helped pioneer ways to prevent disease and develop treatments benefiting millions of people. Our research has helped to beat polio in the UK, develop ultrasound, fight meningitis and prevent stillbirths. But we urgently need to develop more new treatments and cures for sick babies and children and we can’t do it without you.
