Story
Our son Jackson was born at Hurley Hospital in 2005. At the hospital, the fetal monitor lost his heartbeat due to a rare condition called vasa previa which can cause the fetal umbilical cord blood vessels to rupture. Without the fast actions of the expert neonatal doctors and nurses at Hurley, Jackson would not be with us. He spent 10 days in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). We are grateful to Hurley and the doctors and nurses. Hurley Children's Hospital is a truly special place and the Mid-Michigan area is fortunate to have a dedicated and caring staff and a world-class neonatal care facility.
The year 2020 marks the 30th anniversary for Children's Miracle Network programs at Hurley Children's Hospital. Let's celebrate this incredible hospital and all the amazing people who work tirelessly to carry out the mission of CMN Hospitals across mid-Michigan. Every penny helps make a difference!
