Story
I am asking for your support during the Indiana PGA Pros 4 Kids event on Monday, May 24th at The Club at Chatham Hills. I'll be playing 72 holes to support First Tee - Indiana and Peyton Manning Children's Hospital at St. Vincent, and the Leukemia Lymphoma Society. My mother, Jeanne Potts, began her fight against breast cancer back in 2014, and we thought it was over until we found out her cancer had metastasized to multiple areas of her body in late 2020.
In 2018, I was a candidate for the LLS Man of the Year. With the help of a great team around me, we raised over $70,000 in 10 weeks to fund a research grant in for Pediatric Cancer Research in the name of our campaign, Jeanne's Journey. Many times when a cancer patience's journey ends, people will say they lost their battle... But I'm a firm believer that Mom has already beaten cancer by sharing her story and helping others who have suffered at the hands of this terrible disease. Funds can be raised by pledges for how many birdies and eagles I make on 5/24, total golf holes played, or flat donations.
Please know your donations mean the world to my family, and I'm proud to support the IGA as one of their PGA Professionals.
