Story
This year, I’ve decided to make the most of my youth by fulfilling the restless desire to live purposeful for the greater glory of God. With this in mind, the decision was clear to commit to a year or two of service with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps. I believe wholeheartedly in the importance of Jesuit Volunteers engagement in vital service within communities. Furthermore, I felt personally called and challenged to connect more deeply with the mission & values of JVC.
This year, I am fully (100%) committed to doing the following: 1) Placing a priority on people over things and to slowing myself down.
2) Making sure that I’m being rooted in God.
3) Having an intentionality with those around me.
4) Doing my part to be the change. JVC will give me the practical means and tools to live this out daily.
Lastly, JVC will allow me to advocate for the human dignity of all people. I hope you all choose to help me raise funds in support of JVC, which will help us continue to partner with over 200 non-profit agencies and provide vital service to tens of thousands of people with highest/most need.
