Story
I am doing the Ho Ho Hospice Rumble to have a laugh whilst raising a small amount for a good cause that provides services free of charge for those that need them.
Before Michael fell ill, I didn’t realise that the Hospice not only helps people who are ‘admitted’ but also provides help and support to people newly diagnosed with cancer and their families regarding things like pain relief or to make choices that are right for them and their loved ones at the end of life.
£100 raised through sponsorship could fund a Clinical Nurse Specialist for four hours. Ho Ho Hospice Rumble is their most entertaining fundraising event and last year, people who have took part in this event, raised enough money to enable them to continue to provide the 11,000 visits that they make each year to care for patients in their own homes.
