We (Mel, Billie & I) are doing the Magnificent Morecambe walk /wade across the bay this month for my beautiful cousin / big sister (from another mother) EVE, to raise money for Prevent Breast Cancer. 

She was diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer in 2022. A few months into her retirement and not long after her 64th birthday.  Although there is no cure for Eve’s cancer the research from charities like this has allowed her to receive Chemotherapy treatment which can keep the cancer at bay.

Prevent Breast Cancer is the only charity in the UK dedicated to the prediction and prevention of breast cancer. Unlike many charities, they focus on preventing, rather than curing, promoting early diagnosis screening
