Story
Latinx Law Student Association (“LLSA”) is the largest cultural organization at UC Law SF (formerly UC Hastings) and continues to grow in status and impact on campus. LLSA’s success is attributed to its many programs and consistent student involvement. Since 2004 LLSA has been the lead organization in groundbreaking programs like a Day at Law School and Day of Diversity. LLSA also holds an annual Alumni reception providing students with the chance to interface with legal professionals. Every spring LLSA sponsors a cultural graduation for its graduating 3L’s and their families. We also provide our 3L’s members with funding for bar prep courses. LLSA is focused on cultivating a supportive community that provides professional development, networking, and social opportunities for our members and the greater Latinx community.
Due to our programs' increased popularity and the downturn in the economy, we face the possibility of not being able to provide the same benefits without your help. With your support, our students, the many youth, and the communities we serve will continue to benefit from increased opportunities in the legal field.
