Lucy Kennedy London Marathon

London Marathon 2021 · 3 October 2021 ·
As a fitness instructor and England Athletics Run Leader I
am always encouraging others to believe in themselves and push outside their comfort zone to achieve new goals. So thought it was about time I did the same!
I may be a regular runner but a marathon is still a huge and daunting goal. But the thought of raising money for a great charity that will really make a difference to young peoples’ lives will, I am sure, spur me on through my marathon journey.
I am very privileged and proud to be running the London
Marathon 2020 for Teens Unite. Sadly we all know of someone who has been diagnosed with cancer and nobody should go through their journey alone. Teens Unite do a fantastic job of bringing teenagers with cancer together rebuilding their confidence, rebuilding their lives and supporting them and their families through their cancer journey. Hopefully my fundraising will help towards providing more events where teenagers can come together with others who understand, allowing them to live and enjoy life outside of cancer.
Your donations really will make a difference to a teenager’s
life. Thank you for your kind donations and your support.
