A charity so close to my family and I, I’m running for my hero! The strongest man I’ll ever know, who put up the bravest fight despite it all.

My dad had an aggressive form of Leukemia and sadly lost his battle in February last year. Regardless of the immense pain he was in, he never stopped smiling or showing inspirational strength. He was the best Dad a daughter could ask for.

If you know me, I haven’t run a long distance in a (very) long time so this will be one of my biggest challenges yet, but a chance to make a small difference. I hope this will be my first of many!

I’m running for Leukaemia Care, a national charity dedicated to ensuring that anyone affected by blood cancer receives the right information, advice and support.
