Story
Sometimes life throws a curveball and through no fault of their own, it means that some kids don’t get the same education opportunities as others.
I was lucky enough to attend Reed’s School and would like to give someone else the same opportunity, which they might not otherwise have had.
Founded in 1813 as the London Orphan Asylum, the Reed’s Foundation supports vulnerable children who have lost the support of one or both parents. These children might have suffered from parental deaths, abandonment, abuse, and physical and mental parental health issues.
As well as supporting them financially, the work of the Foundation means vulnerable young kids are given the stability, guidance, time and love they so desperately need in their lives, so they can go into the world with self-confidence and self-belief.
And that’s pretty cool.
So please support me in my journey to the finish line for this great cause. It’s my first marathon and I’m still getting my head around the distance...your support will make this a lot easier!
*edit* 2 years on and 5 days to go until the marathon...and I'm still trying to get my head around the distance!
Thank you,
Megan
