I've been living with kidney disease since my diagnoses in 1959 at 12 with glomerular nephritis. I started dialysis in 1966 having been chosen by "the committee". I have been on dialysis 4 times separated by 4 translants. I am celebrating my current transplant's wonderful 20 years of survice this month!
