#TeamLC are raising money to help support all those who have been affected by a blood cancer diagnosis, by running 26.2 miles at the London Marathon on Sunday 27th April 2025.

Story

I have joined #TEAMLC to run both the Great North Run 2024 and the London Marathon 2025. Please help me to support everyone affected by a blood cancer diagnosis in the UK.

10 years ago my Mother in Law, Jude, was diagnosed with Leukaemia. Fortunately she’s still with us, but it’s certainly taken its toll on both her and the wider family. Leukaemia is like all cancers, an awful disease and I’d like to do my little bit and support a fantastic charity, Leukaemia Care. I’ll be running over a 1,000 miles training for them both and hopefully create awareness and receive loads of generous support from you all in the process. I’m aiming to raise at least £3,000, so please show your support helping me to help others in need and donate generously!! Thanks in advance 😊x

Leukaemia Care is a national charity dedicated to ensuring that anyone affected by blood cancer receives the right information, advice and support. Around 34,000 people are affected by blood cancer each year in the UK and we're here to support them through their diagnosis, treatment and beyond.
