Our Community Hall may not be able to continue if groups cannot access us. The land we currently use for parking and gaining vehicle access to the hall belongs to a land-owner who wants to build homes on the land. This will land-lock our hall and mean that groups can no longer drop off resources and those with disabilities. The groups may cease because of this access meaning that we will not be able to financially continue and Brandon will lose yet another vital resource from our rural town.
The land-owner has agreed to scale down his plans and sell us a stretch of the land so that we can have a small car-park for the sole use of our hall. He has agreed to £25,000 for the land and a right of access across his remaining land. Phase one for us is to secure the land purchase. Once secured, we will then have time to raise funds for re-surfacing and landscaping.
Please support us by giving what you can to help us in saving our hall.
