I am setting myself this target to raise money for a charity very close to my heart. My dad has had type 1 diabetes since he was 7 years old, 22 years ago he suffered from kidney failure as a side effect of this, but was lucky enough to of had a transplant! 

It’s something that affects my dad and our families life every day, and yet my dad shows such amazing resilience and positivity to what life has thrown at him  

I can’t begin to imagine the people this amazing charity supports, who aren’t lucky enough to have the support system that we do at home. So, I'm running towards a healthier me, and a better future for people living with diabetes.
