Please help me celebrate turning 30 (!!!) by supporting the Women's Prison Association. 

Since joining WPA's emerging philanthropy group in January, I've gotten to see how @WPA_NYC's alternative to incarceration program allows women to return to (or stay in) their communities, rather than serving time in jail or prison. WPA works with participants to enhance their stability and overall well-being by addressing specific needs that may have contributed to their involvement in the criminal legal system, such as intimate partner violence or sex trafficking. 

I'm fundraising to help four women move into their own apartments. Your support will give them the opportunity to furnish their new homes with the daily essentials we all take for granted. 

It costs $450K a year to send a woman to jail in New York City. It costs less than $20K a year to offer her an alternative to incarceration with WPA.
