A Precious Child, a nonprofit located in Broomfield and serving children and families throughout the Denver metro area, is hosting their annual giveSPORTS Equipment Drive. I am participating in this years Drive to help Colorado children in need have the opportunity to participate in sports. Through their giveSPORTS program, A Precious Child collects donated new and gently-used sports equipment and distributes them to children in the most need through their Resource Center and Agency Partners. The Challenge runs August 24th September 11th. A Precious Child has the greatest need for basketball, hockey, soccer and football equipment but will also take equipment for all other sports. A Precious Child accepts New and Gently-Used Items for football, basketball, soccer, baseball, softball, lacrosse, volleyball and hockey. New items are requested for athletic cups, mouth guards and helmets.
