Friends of Shorewood Hills is raising money for Second Harvest Foodbank of Southern Wisconsin
Story
Hello Friends and Neighbors,
Every fall Second Harvest Foodback runs a "Share Your Holidays" Food drive. This year, the need is even greater as the hardships from the pandemic affect families across Wisconsin. Since March there has been a 40% increase in food insecurity across our area!
Please consider joining us in a Shorewood Hills virtual food drive. For every $1 donated, Second Harvest Foodbank can provide up to 3 meals. Strong local food industry donor relationships and avenues to obtain quality, nutritious food at reduced prices enable a dollar to go much further in our hands than the common market.
Or, if you and your family would enjoy shopping and putting together care packages we will gladly take those as well! The list of most desirable items is listed below. We can either provide pick up of your donation or you can drop it off at the listed address below.
We know right now it is hard to know how to manage so many different parts of life. Please consider taking a moment to bring dinner to your neighbors and join us in supporting Second Harvest. Please donate today!
