September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month (CCAM); it's time to stand together, shout louder and show childhood cancer up for what it really is!

Every child diagnosed with cancer deserves a full and healthy life but sadly, many children will die, and many that survive, will suffer the adverse long term side effects of treatment. It's up to us to take action; and to inspire change that will improve outcomes for our children; and it starts with awareness.

If you haven't yet posted your #SelfieGOLD, here's how to do it:

1. Get gold

Dig out your gold clothes and accessories! If you don't have any - borrow, buy or make them yourself.

2. Take your best selfie

Stand against a plain light background to take your picture to help accentuate the GOLD.

3. Prepare your Facebook status

This has a few parts:

a) Copy and paste the #SelfieGOLD  set text in to your status - find it below and pinned to the top of our Facebook page

b) Complete the set text by tagging in your 3 nominees (choose people you think will get involved)

c) Make sure you @ 'Solving Kids' Cancer Europe'

d) Upload your #SelfieGOLD
