Story

On the 21st of September I walked round Castlewellen Forest Park which is 3.6 miles. I did this with my amazing wonderful girlfriend who has been very supportive throughout my treatment. Thanks Michelle I love you.

On the 31st January I had a life charging event a stem cell transplant which cured me of CGD (chronic Granulamatous Disorder) which had meant long stays in hospital for pneumonia, abscesses on neck, groin and liver, and aspergillus (fungal infection on my lung). I have got my life back now thanks to the Anthony Nolan providing me stem cells I am very grateful please donate generously to help others give and receive stem cells.

I have lost 4.25 Stone, 26.4kg or 58.5lbs since my stem cell transplant.

I am taking on Miles that Matter this September to stride towards a better future for everyone affected by blood cancer and blood disorders and to raise vital funds for Anthony Nolan.

We’re the charity that makes lifesaving connections between patients in need and incredible strangers ready to donate their stem cells.

Thanks to you, every day we help four people desperately in need of a transplant. And with your continued support, we’ll do the same tomorrow, and the next day, and until every patient that needs us can not only survive, but thrive.
