Story
Stanley and Harris are running the Lidl Mudder in September; a one mile, very muddy, obstacle course! Not only will they absolutely relish the change to get completely filthy without being nagged at, they also get to raise some vital funds for the Early Birth Association.
The EBA provided vital support to our family when Oscar was born and spent 8 days in the Trevor Mann Baby Unit. It was an incredibly traumatic time for us, and the EBA made such a huge difference with the smallest of touches. The work they do is invaluable and we hope that the money raised will enable them to continue to support other families.
We'd like to say a massive thank you to all of our young supporters for taking on this challenge for the EBA and for the babies, families and staff - what they're doing to raise money for the charity is incredible and we will be forever thankful. Raising funds for the EBA helps us to purchase items for the units & families ranging from nursing pillows, memory bags, blankets, snacks and drinks for the families, to vital equipment such as baby cooling mats, thermometers & even incubators! Without this funding, the EBA would not be able to provide these items, which we know make a huge difference to the time spent on the units - for everyone involved.Thank you again - and enjoy the muddy fun!
