Story
The Women of Limers Association remain committed to supporting Trillium Health Partners' Compassionate Care Fund. While it wasn't possible for us to host our Big Hats & High Tea social, we would like to invite you to consider supporting our efforts to raise funds to support cancer patients in needs virtually.
The Compassionate Care Fund helps support the extraordinary costs of cancer treatment and survivorship for cancer and palliative patients with lower or fixed income. For example;
- $200 will provide a vaginal dilator kit to manage treatment side effects
- $150 will provide a 30 visit parking pass at Trillium Health Partners
- $70 will provide a 10 visit parking pass at THP
- taxi chits to help patients get to and from appointments
Last year, with the help of community support, we were able to support 103 people from 37 families receiving cancer care at Trillium Health Partners. Your generous donations will help to ensure that patients of our cancer program will not miss receiving care as a result of any financial barriers
