Since I began working at the Waypoint shelter just a few months ago, which serves young adults 18-25 navigating housing insecurity, I have learned just how many people in my community are faced with the unfortunate reality of homelessness. I am partaking the the 2024 SleepOut event to not only raise money for this incredible organization so they are able to continue providing vital resources to those in need, but also to visualize the actual challenges those in my community are faced with every single day. No donation is too small and every penny is appreciated as I work to reach my goal.
