Hi everyone! My name is Meredith Pruitt. I am a junior at South Mecklenburg High School and I am seventeen years old. I love all things movies and music, my car, and my dogs. This year, I will be participating in the annual Fill the Bowl hunger event, something I have been a part of every year since the sixth grade. All proceeds from this event go to The Lunch Project, a nonprofit, Charlotte-made organization that powers community-driven lunch programs in Tanzania, Africa. Because of its origins and role in my life, The Lunch Project holds a very special place in my heart. I was even going to be in Tanzania this past summer, meeting the kids for whom we raise this money, but was unfortunately unable to do so due to COVID-19. This past year has had an impact on all of us, and it would mean the world to me if you could donate to my page. Even the smallest bit counts!
