Thank you for taking time to visit Adam Vanderleest & Sharif Chambliss's campaign page for our participation in the 2026 Chicagoland Ringer to benefit the MACC Fund! We are teammates and former roommates who have traveled the world playing the great game of golf and we are now teaming up for the battle against cancer!

On May 11th 2026 we will set out to play 100 holes-of-golf in a single day to help the MACC Fund raise critical funding for childhood cancer and related blood disorders research.

The event name “The Ringer” is symbolic of a child going through the unthinkable journey of battling cancer. Upon the completion of a successful childhood cancer or blood disorder treatment protocol, children are given the chance to physically "RING THE BELL". This monumental moment in a child’s life was the inspiration for starting, The Ringer.

In just five years, thanks to the efforts of our participants and YOU, our generous donors, the Chicagoland Ringer has raised over $530,000 for research.
